Rice with banana and tomato sauce

Arròs a la cubana


(for 2 servants)

  • rice (100-150 g per person)
  • 1 onion
  • 3-4 tomatoes
  • 1 banana

Preparation time:

  • 20 min


  1. Boil the rice 18-20 min.
  2. Grate the tomatoes. Set aside in a bowl.
  3. Peel and chop the onion in small cubes (or even grate).
  4. Fry the onion slowly in pan with oil until light brown. Add the tomato, season with salt and pepper and simmer for 10-15 min.
  5. Cut the banana in half and cut 3 cross sections. Stir fry for 1-2 min without oil.
